Since my last post I have an exciting updated! Darla, the person in charge of the City Hall Gallery, also writes an "Art in Action" column for the newspapers of Kosciusko County. Well, she told me that the column would be postponed until this week, which made me a little disappointed.

WARSAW CITY HALL SHOW: "MEXICO"

I graduated college two weeks ago. This is fact rather than pride because it means that I have to get busy on "real life." During my senior show a couple months back, the mother of one of my friends approached me about coming to the show. The only thing she told me at that point was that she wrote for the Warsaw Times-Union and wondered if she could do an interview with me. Of course I said yes!

SPENCER AND BRITTONY: ENGAGEMENT

Hanging out with Spencer and Brittony for the evening was a fantastic time. We loosely chose a few locations we knew we would like to go to during the shoot and just let the wind take us. We got to do a mix of shots they wanted and what I would like to do; I really appreciated their flexibility and willingness to just have fun.

UNDOCUMENTED WOMEN IN THE UNITED STATES

Lots of people (ie Jessie) have asked to see the finished series of my Mexican women series. After an extended hiatus it's time to get back on track. After teaching English to this group of Mexican women for almost three years I decided it was my duty to show America the faces behind the words "undocumented immigrants."

PROPOSAL: BEN AND KRISTIN

The day before Valentine's day I had the honor of photographing Ben asking his girlfriend to be his wife. Spoiler: she said yes! Ben was my RA (Resident Assistant) at Grace College my freshman year. All of us on his hall agree that he is by far the best RA we will every have.
